Is the We Olive franchise opportunity right for me?
If you are passionate about delicious food, helping others enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and managing a growing business opportunity, then We Olive may be the right choice for you. The We Olive® franchising team looks for franchisee candidates who take a hands-on approach to managing their business and also stay involved in their community. Does We Olive help with my store opening?
Yes. The We Olive® franchising team will come out to the new store before, during and after the opening to make sure everything goes smoothly.
What is the initial franchise fee?
The initial non-refundable franchise fee is $25,000, due when you sign the Franchise Agreement for operating the first We Olive®store. For additional stores, this fee is reduced. For franchisees that qualify for a Wine and Tapas Bar option, additional education, furniture, inventory, equipment and possible leasehold improvements are required. For all store types, an additional expense of inventory and supplies would vary by store size. A description of all potential fees is described in detail in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
What is the cost of opening a We Olive® store?
The initial investment to open the first We Olive® store is between $112,000 and $183,500, including merchandising, training and a Grand Opening promotion; the first We Olive® store with Wine and Tapas Bar is between $143,500 and $225,600. The itemization of typical expenses is included in the (FDD).
What does my training program include?
We Olive provides a comprehensive training program for two people in beautiful Paso Robles, California without charge. This in-store and classroom program covers the facets of the day-to-day operation of your We Olive® store. In addition, the We Olive orientation will explain in detail how you can leverage the corporate support in areas such as marketing, customer service, hiring, sampling, product knowledge, IT and ordering procedures. After the initial training, We Olive provides scheduled trainings for two more people without charge.
What ongoing support does We Olive provide?
We Olive provides important ongoing support services, including: guidance on operating processes; assistance with purchasing of approved equipment, inventory, signs, supplies; development of local advertising and promotions; administration, accounting and inventory control; employee and management training programs as needed. Additionally, We Olive is in the process of establishing an Advisory Council of Franchisees to continually advise on system best practices, marketing and service enhancements.
What is the real estate site criteria?
Typically, you will lease the premises of the We Olive® store. Finding the right location, and lease terms, are key factors that drive the success of your business. The We Olive® franchising team is involved with identifying trade areas that will succeed. In general, the preferred locations include: a popular tourist shopping locale, downtown street location, urban central retail district shopping area, regional mall, high visibility suburban retail center or other high population retail store areas with the appropriate space for the type of We Olive® store.
Will I have protection for my territory?
We Olive typically grants protected territories to area developers, who will develop and operate a number of stores in an area defined by a municipal boundary or as a trade area. The actual size of the protected area will vary by a number of factors including long term plans, population and market conditions.
